About Us - Lynn Meadows Golf and Country Club

Designed in 1961, Lynn Meadows Golf & Country Club was once named Lakeside Golf Course. Lakeside was built on the farmland of Doug Clapp Sr., where the original barn and farmhouse that still stand today.   Lynn Meadows is located just outside of Port Dover, Ontario.

The front nine was designed through an apple orchard, which is still in existence and the back nine designed over rolling meadows with a creek running through it.

There have been many owners and upgrades to the golf course over the span of the last 45 years, the majority of which occurred when Malachy Grant originally from Dublin, Ireland, moved here and purchased Lynn Meadows Golf & Country Club in 1990. Malachy and his son David's vision included the updating and adding of a new drainage system, developing a full length driving range, reconstruction of the layout, and restoration of the barn and farmhouse to the way you see it today.

Gerry, Imelda, and David Grant (Malachy's sons and daughter), took over the golf course in June 2004 due to Malachy's death. David and his family, wife Steph and stepson Nolan, now reside in the farmhouse where they are close by to operate the course to its full potential.

Lynn Meadows has a very lively atmosphere and has the friendliest staff around. We look forward to seeing you soon.
